This is a metal sculpture that I designed and fabricated with a Bridgeport milling machine. Based off of the geometry of an icosahedron, each face is adorned with a pyramid, and then a sphere is subtracted from each point, revealing an interior space and allowing a transparency. It was installed at my mother's house in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Cold Rolled steel, spray paint, stainless steel fasteners.
